Juverderm Volbella® is an injection of hyaluronic acid, a natural substance found in the body that helps maintain skin hydration and volume. Our McShan Medical Nurse Practitioners carefully treat the areas around the lips with gentle and precise techniques, eliminating the need for plastic surgery or downtime.
During the procedure, we expertly inject Volbella® into the areas around the lips, based on your desired result. The treatment takes around 45 minutes. Volbella contains lidocaine, a localized pain reliever, creating a comfortable experience for the client. Following the treatment, most McShan Medical clients instantly see a softening of fine lines and fullness of the lips. The results can last for up to one year.
Treatment is safe and FDA-approved, with no recovery period involved, Minimal side effects may include swelling, temporary redness, or bruising, which subside quickly. Volbella® is not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
